My ancestor's brother died as an old man, so I expected a very typical cause of death...
According to newspaper reports the couple were both ill and had decided to end their lives together. My great-grandfather stayed in Ireland and his three brothers went to the US so I'm not sure if he ever knew what had happened to him. He was the brother on the right in the photo.
