TTP Way Too Long??

Hey everyone! Just started studying for the GMAT after a cold 555 diagnostic test… I signed up for TTP free trial and I set it to just DI and Quant… and it’s gonna take 5 straight months…

Like I’m shooting for a high score but it’s kinda disheartening doing work for 10 hours to get 1% more done….

Am I tripping? Or is this just the norm and I’m not used to studying anymore hahah.

GMAT Diagnostic Test

Hey everyone, just took my FIRST GMAT mock!!! Literally no studying or anything. I scored a 555 (see attached photo)

Goal is low 700s/high 600s so I think this is a great starting point.

I took this mock on the mba.com one (practice test 1)

What now? I assume I need to hit Quant the hardest… which is so weird bc I thought I did the best on that hahah. Any study plans yall recommend?

Need Help with Profile Review

[Profile Review]
- Big 4 Tech Consultant, UGA MIS, Indian-American Male — What MBA Programs Should I Target?

Hey r/MBA! Looking for some honest feedback on my profile and where I should be realistically targeting. Planning to apply in about a year.

The Stats:
Undergrad: University of Georgia, 3.85 GPA, Management Information Systems

Work Experience: ~2 years at a Big 4 firm as a tech consultant, just got promoted to Senior Consultant

GMAT: Haven’t taken yet — planning to sit for it before I apply

Citizenship: US Citizen

Demographics: Indian Male

Current Comp: ~$105K

Why MBA:
Honestly I’m at a crossroads. Tech consulting has been a great foundation but I’m not sure it’s my long-term path. I’m interested in pivoting toward either MBB consulting or landing an LDP at a fintech, tech, or broader finance company. I feel like an MBA is the clearest path to making that jump without grinding for years to get there organically.

My Questions:
Given my profile, what tier of schools should I realistically be targeting? I assume T20 but idk, there’s a lot of competitive applicants!

Does my demographic (Indian Male, very competitive applicant pool) significantly hurt my chances at M7 even with a strong GMAT?

Would MBB or fintech LDPs recruit meaningfully from schools outside the M7/T15?

By the time I apply I’ll have around 3 years of experience — is that enough or should I wait longer?

Any honest feedback appreciated. Happy to add more context if needed!
