Learned an important lesson today
Out exploring and doing Exobiology, trying to make some money after coming back to the game after a long hiatus.
Been out exploring for two weeks, have a load of data and I'm considering heading back.
While waiting for my ship to land on a planet with 0.06Gs of gravity I thought it would be fun to jump onto my ship and ride it down. Then I learned the lesson that a ship in motion, no matter how slow, will instantly kill you if touched.
1.5 billion credits in exobiology data is now gone. I'm pretty disheartened. That was a lot of time I don't get anymore as a new dad.
