My wife is 5’2ish and is looking at a grevil f7. Am I eating the chart wrong, because it looks like the crank length on every size from 47-55 is a 170mm crank, which seems way too long for the shorter bike sizes. My wife will probably get a size 47 or 50, and that just seems really long. Her current road bike has 165mm cranks, and my size 56 Aspero has 170.

I guess my questions are: is the chart I’m looking at wrong or is it a typo? Is there some benefit in not aware of to the longer crank (I thought everyone was going shorter than standard) and 3) if it’s all accurate, why does pinarello do this?

I have an endurance bike, but am interested in dipping my toe into the gravel space. I can fit up to 45c tires on my bike, and it seems basically wider is better for the most part, but trying to figure out how to understand pairing semi slick vs knobby tires with different surfaces, as well as what width is required for different surface types. I’ve read people mention champagne gravel, as well as cat 1 (not sure what other categories of gravel are or what any of it looks like), but I was hoping for a more comprehensive breakdown of the types of surfaces and width/tire types for each one so I can figure out how to best set up my wheels.
