Let's see your Giant Hornet Selvedge!

As the title suggests - please share some photos of your Giant Hornet Selvedge!

Here are mine! Tried to do my best with the photos but capturing the colour on these turned out to be tricky.

Got them pretty close to release, they arrived to me Dec 11 2025. These are easily some of, if not my very fastest fading fabric from N&F.

They are very comparable to the Dirty elephant 14s, both in the speed they fade and in the colour tones of the denim and even the stitching detailing in yellow. The selvedge ID are almost polar opposite though with the Giant Hornet using a unique indigo X yellow coloured selvedge id compared with the bright red on the elephants, it makes it a lot more understated in that regard in my opinion. They also have a really nice slubby (but not too crazy) fabric, also feels similar to the elephants in that regard too.

I haven't counted wears but it couldn't be more than 3-4 weeks of wear max (not continuous, but if you added them all up). They have also been washed a few times now, I want to say about 3 times. I was able to wear them quite a bit when I got them before it got too cold and I started favoring my heavier denim, and then once it warmed up again in the spring I started wearing them again.

I know the fades aren't that crazy or anything, but I am happy with the level they're at for how little they've seemed to be worn. Still lots of work to go, but off to a good start.

I imagine if anyone has been wearing theirs non-stop the fades must be pretty great by now.
