First car advice on what Soul to look into!
I'm looking into gettin my first car and have been obsessed with the alien green kia soul! Only thing is that I'm unsure of which one to get since i've seen a lot online about engine and oil issues once they hit certain mileages. I'd like a bit of input on opinions and experiences with Souls. I've dug around reddit already and saw that it's generally a hit or miss, but I'm anxious since this is a big decision and need as much info as i can get lollll
For some context: I'm a current college student so i really won't be doing a lot of long drives besides 45 ish minute drives back home on some weekends. I do live in Michigan, so winter weather, heavy rain, and strong winds can get a little crazy sometimes
So far I've seen facebook marketplace listings for:
a 2014 Soul LX at 140k miles
a 2014 Soul at 59k miles
and a 2015 Soul + at 88k miles with the 2L engine
These are all the alien green ones I can find that are within my budget, but I have seen some 2018-2020 Soul options (not in alien green unfortunately) that I'm open to
