Possibly Avey Tare's most underrated vocal performance
This always stood out to me as one of the "scariest" Animal Collective songs. Avey's voice sounds filled with overwhelming grief, yet it also seems angry or almost even wrathful, like he's casting a 100 year curse on an entire kingdom or something.

It has a strong 2003-2004 live Animal Collective vibe. The aaaa-aaaahs remind me Panda's contributions to early Animal Collective songs, and Johns vocals have a similar warmth to them like Avey.
