Going thru this IVDD journey, any and all tips are welcomed!

Hi all!

Last week my 7yr old mini dachshund daughter lost most use of her back legs, out of no where. We took her straight to emergency. She's about a stage 3, ambulatory with severe paraparesis and proprioceptive ataxia that's worse on her right side. She had a neuroligist apt yesterday and we are going to continue trying conservative management right now, keeping her confined and medicated for one more week. If there are no signs of improvement we will then go into MRI/surgery. I am a ball of stress and have so many questions and I know there are no true 100% answers. What works for one may not work for the other. Any tips on how to cope and manage both myself and my lil bebe thru this process are welcomed. We have open minds and are looking into all avenues to help this princess. Including a GoFundMe since I am also unemployed currently. I do not want to be "that one" to come here and ask for donations, but a simple share can also go a long way as well. Her link is https://gofund.me/e5ede8a26 I have this growing fear that the longer we wait for surgery the less successful it will be, or that if we don't do the surgery now, will we have to in the future, again risking the success of the outcome. Any support here will be gratefully appreciated!!
