Inspiration Pictures for hairstyles and makeup for MC's

As a dark-skinned Black woman with 4C hair, I personally feel that the current options don’t provide enough representation for a lot of Black women. There is so much variety within Black hair, and I would really love to see more hairstyles that reflect that — including natural styles, wigs, braids, locs, twists, cornrows, and other protective hairstyles.

I also feel that the current lip shades could be improved. There doesn’t seem to be enough variety of shades that complement deeper skin tones, and I would really appreciate seeing a wider range of colours and tones.

I’m making this post for anyone who shares similar opinions or would like to see more diversity in the customisation options. If you do, I’d really appreciate it if you could comment below with the hairstyles, hair textures, makeup looks, lip shades, or other customisation options you would like to see added to the game. Feel free to include reference photos too!

I’ll also be posting some examples of the hairstyles and makeup looks I personally would love to see. Hopefully, if we can gather enough examples and feedback in one place, Fusebox will be able to see what players are asking for and consider adding more variety ❤️

Very disappointed with the hair choices

As someone who is a DSBW I am very unimpressed with the hair options. The only Afrocentric hairstyle is the free short option and the other curly hairstyles are much looser texture, hardly any coily options. Not to mention there are no braids. Do better Fusebox!

MICROPHARM- Yes or No

Hi all, I had a query regarding the platform MICROPHARM for the GPhC exam.

I have heard a lot of mixed opinions on this course, with some saying it was great while others saying it was a complete waste of money. I did attend one of their webinar a couple months ago and did like their style of teaching and I do like the idea of there being over 20 specialized educators being involved in the program.

In terms of reviews, most the ones I see online seems to be micro influencers he works with so not too sure about the level of transparency there.

For anyone who has used it for the GPhC exam, could you tell me in detailed your experience with them? How did you find the platform? What did you find most helpful? Would you/would you not recommend it and why?

Thank you do much.

Nov exam vs June Exam

Hi all, I had a question regarding sitting the November GPHC exam vs June. I have heard a couple times that the November exam is usually seen as the harder of the 2 sittings and even some said that they don't follow the topic weighting system as strictly (ie they might ask more questions for medium and low weighted topics then they usually would).

What are peoples opinions on this, particularly for people who may have sat both papers. Thank you again in advance

Micropharm vs Revise Pharma?

Hi all. I'm due to start my pre-registration year in a GP setting this July and, if I'm being honest, I'm quite nervous about the year ahead. Before I started I wanted to look at some of the revision resources available to aid me in my revision for the future.

The two programs I keep seeing recommended are Revise Pharma and Micro Pharm, but I'm finding it difficult to decide which one would be the better option. Revise Pharma is definitely attractive from a cost perspective, but I'm wondering whether the lower price means it's less comprehensive than MicroPharm, which is more than double the cost.

For those who have used either of them, or even both, what did you think of them? What are the main strengths of each program, how do they compare to one another, and ultimately which one would you recommend overall?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
