We were kinda forced to have our roof replaced due to some splitting rafters. I brought up my concerns for the garden being damaged and was told that they do thousands of jobs with gardens and the plants come out fine. Well, they didnt.

They put a tarp out while they were removing the shingles, didnt put any poles or supports, just literally threw the tarp up. I saw workers walking ON THE TARP with the plants underneath.

When the project inspector came to do a checkin midway through the project, we brought up these concerns again and the noticeable damage to some of the plants and he completely brushed us off when we asked about compensation. He did a quick chat with the workers and left. I noticed wood and debris being laid out on the side of beds, smushing a lot of our side plants.

I get theyre plants and they'll bounce back but I really put in a lot of time into this bed and reallt focused on not using any chemicals or synthetics as I really wanna grow organic foods. I went out to the veggie garden to find SO MUCH DUST AND DEBRIS on EVERY SINGLE plant and im just so sad.

Sorry for the vent but I really doubt the company will care enough, they already have my money and I just needed to let this out.
