This is Genie. We adopted her yesterday. She is 8 and has been at a rescue for 7 months so being in a house is a bit scary, but she’s very brave and loves getting pets.

White cat guys, are yours this dramatic too?

I have this tiny but mighty cat, Chamomile. She doesn’t like other cats, but is otherwise sweet. I have been struggling with how to keep her for 2 years because she sheds 8-10x more than any cat I’ve had. I made her a deshedding appointment at a woman’s house so she wouldn’t be surrounded by other cats, and it turned out the woman had 2 cats and didn’t disclose that. Dropped her off and was driving away when I got a call to pick her up ASAP, she’s hissing and growling and won’t come out of the carrier. The lady was afraid. I don’t know what to do anymore, I brush her 2x a day with a mit and an undercoat comb. The second photo is ONE brushing session, it literally never ends. Now I feel a groomer will never work out and she won’t let me give her medicine beforehand. Anyone else have a difficult cat? This is my first and I’m at a loss but love her dearly.

Found him like this this morning and I haven’t seen a more majestic loaf from him like this before!
