Gift for 8th year Birthday son who loves reading

Found a 22 book collection on Amazon for 97$ Cnd. Last two school book fairs we bought issue's 20/21 was like 30-40$ just for the 2 newer books.

We read them together probably at least 4-5 times let alone sometimes he would read the two books alone. I'm almost 100% sure this is going to be his favorite gift just wondering what some other fans of the series would react to this gift as a child.

I enjoyed the books we did read and we watched the movies which we both enjoyed together. Would this be your childhood reading holy grail?

Struggling to grip with reality or giving up hope to fast idk.

20 year old cat for starters. My first personal pet I got as a teenager (had many before but was "my" first pet) is really starting to have issues and I really dont know what to do. Today I caught him for the 4th time having a rather bad seizure (Yes I have been to the vet as far as they can tell they think it is FARS as there are no signs of tumors or other underlying issues)

Now he still eats, drinks, cuddles, purrs and is so friendly its insane. The other day my 2 kids had 3 friends over and he was going up and rubbing against them for attention. At the same time we need to set up stools/ramps for his sleeping spots or getting into my bed. He can no longer jump, loosing lots of weight, over grooming his belly which I have never seen tell now.

Every part of my logic tells me I should probably put him down but just thinking about it I start breaking down abit. I don't know if I'm overthinking, worrying what to tell my kids. I'm laying here now with him after a bad seizure on my bed purring, making biscuits and snuggling.

Is it proper to let him pass at home or should I do something about it beforehand? This post probably won't make up my mind I just want to see some others people's perspective. I guess the major question is when is it time to euthanize? (Last cat my family had growing up I lost as teenager we put down one day as she woke up and couldn't walk, eat, drink and was overall very confused, brought her to vet they said she was on her way out of this world, She had a stomach tumor and was 18).

I feel like I am being selfish keeping him alive at this point but Idk if I am overthinking it. I don't want to end my best friends life if he doesn't want it to end, he still cuddles between my legs nightly.
