I just want to know

Hello everyone,

Like many others, I am trying to prepare for the TCF Canada test, and I just want to know, for someone like me, how long it will approximately take to get that CLB7 (NCLC 7).

I was taught French since I was a kid, and back home, it is actually our second language. My level in French is not native-like, and since I am living in an anglophone environment, I haven't had the chance to practise my French a lot since I came to Canada.

I can fully understand written French, and I can understand when someone talks to me or when i hear anything in French, and I can write as well.

My English is stronger, but I can talk to myself in French, but sometimes I don't find the words, or it takes me a minute to find the correct word.

I also passed the CELPIP-G for English and got CLB 9 and before that i passed the TOEFL-iBT and got 98 (before coming to canada) so i am kinda familiar with testing but i don't know if the TCF Canada is simillar in that regard.

Est-ce que vous pensez que je peux atteindre NCLC 7 facilement d'après mon profil ?

Merci beaucoup.

Did i do the right thing ?

Hello Everyone, recently I have been hired at RBC as a CA Intern, and I was clear from the beginning, and they seemed nice at first, and understanding but during my 6 weeks of training, things took a nasty turn at the 5th week, when i raised concerns about changing the schedule after being posted and i was called into the assistant manager office and she said this branch is not for me and nothing personal (it felt personal) and she wants someone more than 25h a week etc

When I raised these concerns with my manager, she deflected them to the RVP, whom I felt intimidated by, and I had a gut feeling that I would be fired for speaking up. The whole work environment felt toxic, and everything felt ambiguous and extremely stressful. I felt no support, so I quit.

Was I impulsive about this, or did I take the right decision?

PS: I have anxiety
