If yer tired of starin' at a blank page like a brainless desert rat, git yer lazy asses down to the Hesperia Branch Library. We’re gatherin' every Tuesday between the hours of 5:30 and 7:00 PM to bleed onto keyboards.

Here be the bloody code we follow:

• We kick off by flappin' our gums fir the first 15 minutes. Git to know yer fellow scoundrels, brag about what miserable excuse for a creative project yer workin' on.
• Lash yerself to the desk, shut your hole, and write for one bloody hour.
• For the last 15 minutes ye git to bitch and moan about how yer writing went to shit. Share yer struggles or keep yer trap shut, there’s no bloody pressure either way.

It is with the utmost pleasure that I extend an invitation to a gathering of the most literary nature. Should you find yourself inclined to improve your manuscript in the presence of fellow writers, pray do join our weekly gathering at the Hesperia Branch Library on Tuesday May 12, 2026. We shall convene between the hours of half-past five and seven o'clock in the evening.

Our time together shall proceed in a most orderly and agreeable fashion:

• We shall commence with a period of exchanging pleasantries for ten to fifteen minutes, affording us the opportunity to make one another's acquaintance. During this time, one may speak of the literary endeavors ahead of them.
• Following the initial pleasant conversation, we shall strictly observe one full hour of dedicated quiet writing.
• To conclude our evening, we shall reunite for a brief discourse upon the hour's progress. Should you wish to share, you will find a most sympathetic ear. However, let it be understood that there is not the slightest expectation to speak; your comfort is of the highest priority.

I do hope you will do us the honor of attending.

• 10-15 mins post-writing debrief to share, flex some plot breakthroughs, or sit back and take in the view. NO PRESSURE. NO EXPECTATIONS. JUST RAW CREATIVE HORSEPOWER.
