Hi all! Guitar Center just dropped this huge deal on this Fender jazz bass in a British racing green color that I have been dreaming of to play for the longest time ever since I first saw it (I just love the color so much!!). I’ve asked a fellow Redditor what they thought of this bass and they seemed to enjoy the sound and feel of it so far, which is great! Is it worth getting the bass now or should I wait for a more big sale? I am a college grad student, so unfortunately I don’t really have the money to buy it at its full price.

Also for those of you that do have this bass, what do you think of it? Any pros or cons I should think about? I’m also concerned about the set-up of the bass as well (such as the fret ends being too sharp).

Hi all, I’m an incoming new graduate student this fall, but haven’t received any registration information yet. Does anyone know when we can expect to register for classes? I’m a little worried because classes will start in a month.

Edit: Thank you all for letting me know of your past experience! Definitely wasn’t expecting registration to be by orientation time, but as long as it’s before classes start that’s totally fine lol. And if you’re new to OU like me, I hope we get to cross paths sometime!
