Anyways back to the topic! So everyone has a complain that Mahid trusted someone else and dropped Seher and the mangani like a hot plate. Why does he do this every time and blah blah blah! Areyyyyy ruko zara bta rahi hun!

Let’s go back to post Adamgunj trip, first roza. Seher was accused of planning the entire “Ghazala “ fiasco against Mahid with even a witness present. And he did believe her to be the culprit initially but after that he put two and two together and came to the conclusion that she wasn’t the culprit at all. Even before he had any proof of her innocence he was mad at her but still did help her take the exam and even participated in a food fight with her 😉 vaise food fight k dauran hi Mahid k dimaag ki batti jali thi! That realisation along with that khadim ki kootayi brought us one of the most heartfelt scenes where Mahid puts aside his ego and kneels down to apologise from Seher. 🥹🥹🥹Mahid has never shied away from expressing himself when it comes to Seher, given the situation allows. So how are we saying he does not trust her. He is human after all just like us. We all tend to first panic then make a stupid decision in the heat of the moment and create drama before we sit down to think and find solution.

And we keep forgetting what Mahid has gone through all his life. He has never had one person he could confide in, his Ammi was killed, his Dada Huzoor was killed, Seher was separated from him and this utterly alone man whose only friend is a 5 year old kid is expected to not react and be the bigger person every time… how can he? And why should he? Remember Seher was shamed for blaming Mahid for Kauser’s death and after the initial frustration I understood her as well. She is someone who only ever trusted and loved her Ammi, her entire world revolved around her mother. But then Mahid came, he made her believe that there is a world beyond her mother and she is allowed to experience it, she doesn’t have to be scared because he will be there to shield her from everything evil that comes her way. He gave her the ultimate gift of hope, hope to dream bigger and be unafraid of things that were earlier her obstacles. She was bound to trust him blindly and then for that trust to break because he couldn’t keep his promise of saving her mother. She didn’t know any better, she didn’t know what happened in that Haveli, she didn’t think about him being scared, Mahid was young too and scared and broken too. But Seher reacted how a normal human would and not some mahaan ITV FL. A 16 year old who lost her mother.

Mahid is reacting in the same way. Broken people break people… understand that…

Mohabbbat kam nahi huyi hai, sirf andar ka dard hadd se zada bhadh gya hai. Aap jitni shiddat se kisi se mohabbat krte ho usey khone se utna hi darte ho. Secure hone k liye pehle rishte ko waqt ki maar khani padti hai…

Mahid and Seher are some of the most human characters I have ever seen on screen. They react how we do. If I were in Mahid’s situation I would doubt her too, I wouldn’t know what prompted her to lie, I wouldn’t know why she did not tell me. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I would just know that I was lied to again and that all the love shown was maybe a lie too. And I would break and burn from inside! Oh the agony of love! ❤️‍🔥

I cannot tell you how I cried with Mahid, how I choked on my own tears along side Seher! Damn the beautiful frame that they sat in! Light pouring from one corner, a broken jhoomar in the background and them in two different shades of yellow!

Mahid and Seher, at the tower where Ghazala died, they were in the same shades of yellow. That too when there union was being formed! Tasbih k daane lijiye aur Allah se apna rishta phir se jodh lijiye,aapko sukoon ki zaroorat hai!

This was then,7 years ago!

Mahid and Seher, at the purani haveli where Kauser was killed, they are in the same shades of yellow. A day away from their Mangani! Saare sawalon k jawaab mil gye humein Mahid!

And then we have one of the cutest scenes this season has seen! Haye Seher tum kitni cute ho! Nautanki ho! Or simply in 22 years old Mahid’s words “bs thodi c ajeeb hai!” 🥹 Niyazi sahab bhaag rhe hain but doctor sahiba will not have IT! Push him, hold him, make him sit and hover over his shoulders! Hahahahahah! And ultimately trap him by sitting in front of him with those puppy dog eyes! Kahan jaega yeh aadmi iss khurafati ladki se bach kr! Seher plays the oldest card in the deck, “agar mangani nahi hui toh usko izzat ka kya? Acha izzat ka mamla Mahid sambhaal lega but what about her naukari? Mufti ki biwi ki naukari thode khaegi Sultana!” Toh mangani toh hogi! Inn sabke beech mein, kheench khinchaav mein Seher k haath mein Mahid miyan ki coat pin lgi aur khoon baha aur hmara ladka darr gya! 🥺🥺🥺 Seher sees the zakham in his hand! It’s from Khalid’s kootayi last night 🤣🤣but we won’t talk about that! 🤭🤭🤭🫢

Aur ek baat batao? Aaj tak kabhi Mahid Seher ki baaton ko na bol paaea hai? Majnu hmara Laila se nahi jeet skta,”manna krne ki sahooliyat kabhi di hai aapne humein?”Mangani toh krega! Obviousy krega! Chahe naraaz hokar kre ya kaise bhi, aur koi raasta bhi toh nahi chhoda Seher ne! 😎

But Seher has a mission, she has to make good memories with him to wash off the bad ones! Seher has to sponge off the guilt from his mind! That is all! Chal JHOOTHI! 🤥

So she interrupts a meeting! More like a maths lesson jo Mufti sahab gusse mein apne mulazimon ko de rhe the! Seher bibi ilaaj ko aayi hain! So everyone leaves! Mahid miyan does nautanki but gets it treated. Mahid says a very heart warming thing to Seher while she is tending to his wound and she ends up asking him why he wouldn’t punish her for what she did to him last night, “aap ko saza nahi de skte hum, aapko toh jan boojhkar takleef bhi nahin de skte!” This! This right here is why I love this man! He admits to being flawed, he wants to push her away by hurting her but he can’t! Because you don’t hurt people you love…
Seher asks him if he’d accompany her to her Ammi’s grave! Oh no! 😰 Kauser ki qabar par Mahid??? Oh no way in hell! Seher leaves! And Mahid realises she must have asked because she needed the support so he rushed out only for us to find a slow motion Seher who knew he’d come! 😏Laila apne Majnu ko janti hai bhai! 😎😎 Nautanki kahin ki!

They reach the qabaristan! And you have to look at the both of them! What great potrayal of grief and guilt! Seher is visiting Kauser for the first time in 7 years! And she silently promises her that she’d brave her heart for Mahid to heal and Mahid promises himself that he will suppress his guilt and help Seher out here! Dono hi ek doosre k liye aagey badh rahe hai!

“Aap peeley rang ka phool layi hain! Kyu?”
“Ammi ko peela rang Boht pasand tha…”
“Aap apni ammi ki qabar par …….pehli baar ayi hain? Apni ammi se kuch baat nahin karengi!”
The way his voice broke, the way Mahid had to take an extra moment to say this! Uffff! He is choking while trying to encourage her and console her! God Mahid!
Seher can pretend all she wants but it’s Kauser and no matter how strong she says she is, Ammi toh ammi hai! Ab na vo issey galley laga sakti hai na hi apne Doctor hone ki khushi baant sakti hai! Ammi toh chali gyi na iss duniya se! Uff Bhavika just hits it out of the park! Seher was supposed to be strong, Mahid ka ilaaj chal rha hai but at the end of the day she is human and Kauser was her soul… so her real emotions come out.

Mahid comes to her rescue and the way he just scoots towards her and holds her! 🫠In the time of grief, Mahid or Seher never hesitate to provide each other warmth. This is the beauty of their relationship, they fight, blame and absolutely bite each others head off all the time but the moment one needs the other, all the walls go down and it’s just Maher being each others support system!
Mahid here says one of the most heart warming and at the same time most heart breaking thing of this series till now,
“ vo humein choddh kar nahi gyi hai…vo sirf duniya se rukhsat huyi hai…aur yakeen maniye qayamat k din vo aapse milengi,aap uske Sahmne hongi, vo aapko galey lagaengi, muskuraengi, boht muskuraengi aapko dekh kr…kyunki aapne unka khwaab muqamal jo kr diya na…” and she hugs him, purely out of grief. Mahid has always been there, she just never looked…that hug was much needed and this is Seher being healed by the man she claims to hate…oh the horror! 🥹
and now the heart breaking lines, while she hugs him, crying her heart out…Mahid lets his inner darkness take over and says his fear out loud, “Aur hum door se aap dono ko dekh rahe honge, khuda-e-kareem humein aap dono ko juda krne ki saza jo de raha hoga….phir aap dono humein dekh kr muskuraengi Inshallah!” Oh my poor baby…🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 usne apne liye qayamat k din ki saza muqarar kr li hai!

And P salute 🫡 qubool kro! It’s how his voice breaks but he still goes on, choked and in a trance as if he is seeing himself being punished while Seher and Kauser smile at him…almost like he is waiting for this day! How brilliantly he portrays that! Allah tauba Mahid kahan shuru aur P kahan khatam pta hi nahi chlta! 🥹🥹🥹

This breaks Seher’s emotional trance and she comes back to her mission. She asks him how he thinks of her! And Mahid says the one word I have been dying to hear the correct pronunciation for in this serial, “Annna! (Ego)”(Thank P, you such a boo 🎀 )
Mahid tells her how Kauser had asked him to let Seher go with her on the Walima night but he had refused and now he regrets it because had he let her go then Kauser might have been alive, happy and both of them together in some other city!

Seher tells him they must make Kauser laugh and not cry! So she tells him a funny story about Kauser and he laughs…but Mahid catches her lie. Now Seher must prove that she wasn’t lying toh vo Ammi ki kasam uthane ko uski qabar ki mitti ko apne haath mein leti hai…aur phir kuch keh nahi paati…

We have seen Mahid break down at his Ammi’s qabar so many times, always souling himself with her qabar ki mitti..I personally think uss mitti ko chhoona ik alag ehsaas hai kyunki vo mitti Ghazala aur Kauser ko unn dono se alag krti hai, Mahid aur Seher k bajaye yeh mitti inn dono ki Ammi k sabse kareeb hai aur yeh mitti ko chhoo lena jaise unko chhoo lene jaisa hai!
Seher was careful not to touch the grave before this! And now… 🥺🥺🥺

Achanak koi Mahid ko bulata hai to console a young boy at his father’s funeral! Mufti sahab must go do his duty! He looks back at the love of his life and reluctantly goes…

As soon as he leaves, Seher hugs Kauser! The sad version of the title song plays after such a long time 🥹 and we see a small glimpse of our beloved Kauser bi…🥲🥲🥲
Bhavika does such a brilliant job of breaking down and speaking to her mother jo uski poori duniya thi…Kauser kyun gyi yar! 😭😭😭

Mahid as a mufti is brilliant and so empathetic that it’s almost impossible to see him as someone who is utterly broken from the inside! He consoles the young boy and gets back to Seher, who pretends to be absolutely fine!

He simply wipes the mitti off her face and says yet another heart warming thing, “ agar humare muskurane se aapka thoda bhi dard kam hota hai toh hum zindagi bhar muskurane k liye tyaar hain…” hayeeeeeeeee ♥️

The car ride is silent and Seher is lost in the past! Mahid wants to heal her so he asks her to tell him what would make her happy and he’d do it, he’d do anything to make her smile…he even buys her Jhumkas, sorry Chaandbaalis (happy? u/Fun-Birthday6182 )

Miyan ji even Brings her to Niyazi Manzil to distract her… with woodwork! Ek doctor aur Mufti mil k carpenter ban gye! 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭

Outside of Maher: Amaal getting trapped in Phuphi jan ka jaal! Phuppijan making wishes upon eggs and Haider bursting them 🤣🤣🤣nalayak aulad! Insha 🐍 getting on my nerves! That woman getting involved in all of this and actively trying to hurt and take away the chance of happiness of the person who literally saved her and gave her life back! How big of a back biting betch snake do you have to be! Do better Insha, do better! 😒😒
