Hi all, just wanted to share my most recent make, I saw a picture of Sophie the tiger on r/knitting last week and fell in love with her.

I realised the book was on kindle unlimited so decided to give her a go!

I still class myself as a beginner and this was the hardest thing I've tried to knit. I've made a few little animals by Clare Garland and her patterns are easy to follow. This was my first time trying a pattern from someone else and using a book! I nearly gave up quite a few times and I made lots of mistakes, YouTube helped a lot to learn new techniques!

I am so glad I persevered, she's not perfect but she makes me smile every time I see her!

(I also decided to put beads in her so she's weighted)

Pattern is Sophie the tiger - knitted wild animal friends by Louise Crowther.

Yarn is Scheepjes stone washed.

I nearly gave up a few times and a little ashamed to say it took me nearly a week to knit, she's not perfect, there are lots of flaws but I'm so happy with how she turned out in the end and I learnt a lot in the process! And I smile every time I see her!
