Do you all have a specific insurance company or broker who you’re been pleased with? I’d like to get a few other quotes.

My husband (the veteran) and I are in the process of buying our first home. We had hoped he could stay behind in the community where we currently live and work until employment is secured in the area where we plan to move (about 3.5 hours away). However, we are receiving pushback from our lender’s underwriters. Has anyone ever encountered this situation, and if so, what was the resolution?
