Insane notifications
I have a new doorbell 2k and an older blink outdoor. Due to recent additions, I’m on a ‘trial’ AI subscription covering everything.
I experience periods of about 10-15 minutes where my Apple Watch just starts getting TONS OF notifications from my blink cameras. It is INSANE, like every 10-15 seconds for 10 minutes or more. I hit “dismiss” and also “silence for 4 hours” to no avail. They just keep coming. Buzz… buzz.. buzz… It seems like it happens when I start an AppleWatch exercise, but maybe that’s just when I find it most annoying.
The times of the notifications are all over the place too. 2hrs ago, yesterday 10am, 1 hour ago, 6 hours ago, yesterday evening, yesterday 7am… times just bouncing all over the last day or so with no rhyme or reason.
I definitely want all CURRENT events, but the stuff piling up in random order from the last 48 hours is just really irritating.
It seems like AppleWatch notifications are getting queued, sorted randomly, then delivered at the most annoying time possible.
Anyone else see this? Besides “disarming” or desensitizing, is there anything I can do to make it give me only ‘recent” events?
