ASL or French?

Hey all, I'm a junior studying communications and I have a foreign language requirement of 6-8 credit hours (bachelor's of science)

I tried taking Spanish as I took French in high school and thought it'd be easy but I barely made it a week in and had to drop it because it was too fast paced for me so I wanna try again next semester so I'm taking 3 classes right now.

Now I'm having a bit of a dilemma. I don't know whether I should take sign language or French

On one hand, I'm thinking sign language as it doesn't really require speech and the only real challenge is remembering which gesture is which, on the other I'm thinking French as my high school memories will come back and make it easy

Which one would you recommend and why? What are your experiences?

Random question for future reference

I currently drive a 2016 Ford focus hatchback right now, this is my very first car as we speak, I've had it for a year at this point. It is working just fine and nothing is wrong with it, does exactly i want it to, and I am not looking to replace it

In the future assuming my car finally dies or has frequent maintenance problems that stops making financial sense, I want to upgrade it into something bigger and better. I don't know what kind of car I'm asking for so I'm going to help you out here

- doesn't like it too small or too big. I don't want to be driving a boeing 747 or a driving a tiny goldfish bowl (so not a smart car or a ford expedition)

- extra hauling space, better vantage point, room is amazing especially considering photography equipment, groceries, luggage for vacation, or helping my mom carry 6-8 tubs of stuff for yard sales.

- Comfortable for any kind of passenger and doesn't make them feel cramped or trapped so tall passengers, older people, plus sized folks, so on

Common(ish) passengers include:

- My dad who is 6'3 and NEEDS room

- my mom, age 55 and plus sized. She has trouble getting in and out of my car if the car is parked weird on the hill so lately I've been having to park directly onto the driveway so that way she can get in way easier

- backup camera (they're required by law anyway so this probably doesn't matter)

- bluetooth for music + GPS so apple carplay or android auto and safety features (again, in modern cars anyway so probably doesn't matter)

- can go long distances without any issue which will be really amazing for longer trips

- great gas mileage so I can go several miles before needing to refill it again

- can easily drive and park it, little to no hassle

- is reasonably priced and affordable

- can tolerate and survive all weather

- functions like a car

What am I actually describing? What car type am I actually asking for? Also what years and mileage should I go for?

Thank you all in advance
