Hello, I am u/boredombustaz or "_mosshaven" on Twitter. These are 10 picks for BFDI's inevitable season 7 and what I think they can bring to the table. None of these takes will have their reasonings based in "Well I like them and they didn't do anything so they should join". Let's begin! (This list is not ranked)

1. Coiny: Coiny is a contestant who has only done well overall in one season; BFDIA. And even then... he didn't make the podium! I think a new season for him, specifically away from Pin, who shouldn't even be in the talks of being a season 7-er, will really help his own popularity. Him gaining actual new dynamics, especially with the other bros, would be amazing for a character who has been largely reduced to Pin's ally due to BFDIA.
2. Golf Ball: In a similar sense to Coiny, Golf Ball needs a season away from Tennis Ball. But in addition to that, I think a season where Golf Ball is respected as a person and not reduced to the done-twice leadership battle that only ends in Golf Ball outliving the character she doesn't like. Without TB as a safety net, she could have a real arc about learning to work with people who don’t automatically follow her.
3. Pen: OKAY. This is going to sound like a biased pick, but Pen being in season 7 could really help his reputation, as well as set up a story for other characters. Pen has never been an early boot, him leaving earlier than Eraser or Liy can change the trajectory of their characters, so building on that with a premature exit creates permanent trajectory shifts for his friends—exactly what a fresh season needs, even if it means he becomes more of a plot device.
4. Eraser: To add on to the previous point, I think it's worth something to note that Eraser has never placed higher than Pen in a season. This alone should be reason enough to put him in a new season, but him competing alone and being all-in would feel completely out of character and wouldn't help him in the long run, which is why AT THE START, Pen and Eraser should compete together. If he stays while Pen goes, he could automatically be guaranteed a spot in the merge if he's written well enough!
5. Liy: Bias pick, yes I know. But while her stint in TPOT kinda sucked, her impatience, curiosity, and willingness to take big swings make her a wildcard... which a season 7 could use. TPOT as a season didn’t fully explore a complete redemption or leadership arc outside specific high-stakes moments, opening the door for the next season to be even better, especially if it builds on her Pen dynamic for mutual development.
6. Bomby: Let's all be honest. Bomby is right up there with Nickel as one of the most inconsistent characters in Battle for Dream Island. I think a season 7 that clears the air and finally settles who Bomby is would be a really fun experience, as one of his biggest fans. I'm specifically hoping for something along the lines of his BFB 12 or TPOT 2 self, his outbursts adds high-stakes physical comedy and tension to challenges.
7. Woody: He's competed in TWO seasons. He got last in one and written out of another. I personally believe he needs a season 7 slot more than Spongy, especially considering how Woody was popular enough to be one of the first plushes and a potential winner for BFB, I'd really like for him to be THAT popular again.
8. 8-Ball: Haha, 8 joke. But seriously... it is a tragedy what happened to 8-Ball. He deserves way better than being eliminated over a joke and getting the least votes to join the show when he offers so much more than characters like Dora or Stapy. The fact that people look to 8-Ball for leadership can unique tension to team dynamics (especially with opinionated characters like Liy) and turns a joke arc into meaningful development.
9. David: Look. It'd just be really fucking funny. He's received a lot more love in recent years, especially with BFDIE characters, and with the chance of them coming back leads to new dynamics and new relevance for David. Even though he wouldn't contribute a lot to the story (which in my opinion shouldn't even be a factor is a silly show like BFDI), the animators bring new life to David that can help him potentially get far.
10. Eggy: Finally, it's Eggy. We can all agree she needs a new reputation to get her away from he who shall not be named, but not enough people truly get at what this reputation should be in the first place. In contrast to the Teardrop shit no one likes, I think Eggy should play a villainous role, trying to manipulate the viewers into getting her as far as possible by doing as little as possible, maybe forming new bonds with more popular contestants instead of actually doing the challenge. I think it would be cool from a story standpoint (most antagonistic BFDI contestants are often rooted in angst), and from a meta one, as it would poke fun at contestants in other shows who don't do much like her.
