first day in new office

Starting at a random office that imports fruits.

I’m kind of concerned because they offered it to me on the spot Thursday haven’t sent an offer letter or confirmed pay rate and it maybe 2-4 hrs of the day. I truly expected this to be a 2-3 day week job.

I’m walking up now and no text from the one person who does work in office.

I don’t wanna do this

I’m about to go to barista trial run for the next hour and I do not wanna do it. I was laid off last year in April and in May this year. When I was laid off I moved back across the country and worked in a cafe. I was excited but it slowly went out the window by end of summer and by March I vowed to never do coffee again when I got a FT job.

I’m standing here on the corner crying because since March I’ve working remote so I have been home 100% of the time.

I do love coffee but I can’t work in again. I know I need a job but the sheer fact that it’s the only place willing to hire me is making me weak.

I was working as a Bookkeeper for 3 months and prior to that I was an accounts payable and operations for 3 years at one office. I am defeated because I really like admin and accounting. I thrive in it.
