Anyone else like AYAOTD *and* the IT series?

I just left a comment on this subreddit comparing this show and Welcome to Derry. They’re both horror shows about adolescents who take on spiritual monsters, and most of the time they win.
I wouldn’t be surprised if AYAOTD made an episode about a monster who takes on the kids’ fears if Stephen King didn’t write “IT” in the 80s.

Idk the episode’s name, but I think there’s a scary (killer?) clown in a few episodes. I didn’t grow up with the show, so I wouldn’t know. I’m gen Z and a newer fan.

After all, the Sixth Sense may have been inspired by “the tale of the Dream girl” (my favorite episode)

Of course, they have their differences, as Welcome to Derry isn’t appropriate for kids in the slightest. As for the 90s miniseries, it’s not as scary but I still wouldn’t recommend it to kids.
AYAOTD and the 90s miniseries don’t scare me like Welcome to Derry does, but IMO the two media franchises have a lot in common.

If I had to think what the adult version of AYAOTD was, I’d say the 2010s “IT” movies and “welcome to derry” are. Maybe stranger things, but I haven’t seen it.

What do you guys think?

Looks like True Jackson has replaced Legends on 90s Kids 2

True Jackson takes the early afternoon slot on Pluto’s 90s Kids 2, at least for now.

Tanya Chisholm (Kelly from big time rush) comes out as autistic

As someone on the spectrum who grew up watching BTR as a kid, I find this to be pleasantly surprising news. I also have a crush on Tanya, so it’s cool to know that one of my celebrity crushes is more similar to me than I thought.

I’ve never suspected her to be on the spectrum, but it’s awesome to know that she is on it. I read that many of us on this subreddit are on the spectrum, so hopefully those of you on the spectrum celebrate her coming out like I am.

Finding out that Billy West (a childhood icon of mine) and Anthony Hopkins have autism in my 20s was major. Growing up, the only celebrity I knew about having autism was Dan Aykroyd, so hearing about all of these celebrities being diagnosed later in life has been inspiring.

Does this mean that Paramount Plus and Pluto would no longer have Nick content?

News (opinion-ish) article about the changes coming to Pluto TV

Here’s an article explaining the changes coming to Pluto TV. The article states that Pluto is going to remain free but transition to on demand (akin to Tubi)

For those in America who have not checked out Pluto’s channels, I recommend it. Pluto and Paramount Plus are the future of Nick.

They already have 6 (live action) Nick shows on demand, including Kenan and Kel, Drake and Josh & Zoey 101. I anticipate they’ll put on more shows.

The best way to get Pluto to pick up the cartoons or live action shows you want is to comment on their social media pages.

Personally I hope to see Avatar, Danny Phantom and the Amanda Show added. How about you guys? Please comment below.

They’re on Pluto TV, which is better than Paramount because it’s free. As far as I know, there are no commercials (I’m watching Kenan and Kel and there seems to be no commercials.

This is how it is in America. Idk what the story is in Canada, the UK or AUS/NZ.
