Worried I'm wasting my time

Hi. I'm a long time lurker of this thread as I know motherhood is something I want and actively plan for in my life. For context, I'm 21, not thinking about having children yet but I have a timeline for my career and buying a house of about 5 years before I'd like to start a family.

I've only been with my current partner for just under a year, and I know you can't plan everything in life exactly but I have a pretty solid idea of my timeline. However, my partner (30) seems to not be so big on timelines and a few things he has said has made me question if having a family is even a priority for him and something is actively working towards.

Yes, I know I'm young and have time on my side. But I really don't want to work hard over the next 5 years completing all my goals, be ready to try, and still be met with uncertainty about time and stability from him. I'm not one to casually date, I need to feel like I'm working towards building something.

Ultimately, my question is, is it worth taking that risk if I know exactly what I want? Has anyone else has similar experiences?

Worried my boyfriend is withdrawing due to his eczema

Hi. I hope it is okay to make a post like this on this sub. I'm just looking for some advice/ support on what to do in this situation.

My boyfriend of 7 months was open at the start about how much his eczema affects him and his mental health during bad flare ups. He is not the kind of person though to come directly to me or anyone else for support when he is going through something.

Over the past few days he has become very withdrawn and distant, saying he doesn't even have the energy to send a text. I've just tried to be there for him and send him messages of support but not overdo it incase he needs space. However, I'm worried it's looking like he is going to completely withdraw.

Does anyone have any advice on how to best support him when he just wants to completely withdraw? It is a milestone birthday this weekend for me and it'd break my heart if he couldn't attend but obviously I just want him to be okay.
