I wanted to share my honest review of the desk after having it for three weeks. I ordered both the C7Max ergonomic chair and the Premium Standing Desk (E7 Pro).

I’ll start with the pros:

Customer service: i found the customer service team to be quite responsive. I encountered several issues including assembly and receiving defective item(more on that below). I contacted the support team and they were able to assist me.

Product quality: i have only received the standing desk and so far I’m happy with the quality of the product. It fully supports my ultra-wide monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse. I tested the stability of the desk when going up and down and i found that there is some vibration. Flexispot did include the cable management metals but i couldn’t figure out how to install it in the back of the desk. Also, the instruction does not a great job explaining things on how to assemble. I was very confused at certain stages trying to figure out which screw and part goes where. There is a video instruction on youtube that walk through the installation but the qr code was not included in the instruction manual. I highly recommend flexispot to incorporate the link into the instruction manual for easier access.

The cons:

Lack of transparency: when i placed my order, no where in the product page did it mention that the mesh version of the chair is out of stock. I ordered it under the impression that it would get shipped out within reasonable amount of time. I placed my order on April 12th and as of today, i haven’t received the chair. I feel like the website should have been updated to reflect the status of the product so that the customers order with that expectation in mind.

Defective item: the original and replacement desk top i received came broken. For the first one i think UPS did a terrible job handling the package as the box came beaten. The second one tho, the box itself didn’t look beaten but the edge of it came broken as well. Support said they will be sending a replacement for that one as well. After the second one, I’ve started to believe that the underlying issue might be with the packaging itself rather than the courier that handles it. I have attached photos for reference.

Anyways there is probably more issues I’ve noticed that i couldn’t think of rn but I’m willing to answer questions if anyone has one.

I would love to get recommendations on podcasts channels on youtube that are worth listening to. Would love to hear some inspiring stories of Ethiopians that moved to the west to establish a life and succeeded through entrepreneurship or higher education.

Would love to get specific episode recommendations as well.
