Kids are going back to school. This means Richmond is about to be inundated with a gaggle of college students that have never left home, and as the past has shown us, they’ve never crossed a fucking street either. Please be on the lookout for heads down phones up zombies in crosswalks, middle of the road, and generally any place in traffic where they shouldn’t be. Please do not drive distracted. Please refrain from hitting them. I’d like to suggest an extended blasting of the horn accompanied by obscenities. If you hold it long enough and scream loud enough it just might get past their AirPods and make them the slightest bit self aware of their surroundings. They’re leaving the safety of their nests, so let’s give them a safe place to land.
