The search for the Google Calendar alternative continues.....

Up to now, I have been using the free version of One Calendar to import my multiple Google calendars. This has been a great solution for me. I have gotten most of what I want out of it. But now I want just a bit more. Namely:

-ios App for my iPhone with a sim card.

- Android app for my moto G android device without a sim card (wifi only)

- application for my windows computer(s)

-application for my linux computer(s)

I ask you, DOES THIS THING EXIST?!?!?

The One Calendar has no linux application. I have to go into a google calendar itself. Not ideal but acceptable for the past few years.

But now, I want that linux solution.

If the app is web-based with both android and ios, that would work because I can make a PWA on both desktop OSs.

From what I gather, my choices are Google calendars, and I somehow export all my other google account calendars to yet another (but I don't like the google interface much to begin with) or Thunderbird (ignore the mail) or Proton (ignore the mail) and both of those come with some major caveats. I am also looking at any.do and one calendar pro which may give me some more of what I want but nothing mentioned here. If I go with one calendar pro, I am still stuck with no solution for Linux.

Thoughts and suggestions?

I am talking strictly calendar here. I know how you all seem to like bundling things, but I remain of singular focus.

Thanks in advance for any leads you may have.

The beneficial effects of listening to TA

Since I started listening last June, my TV time has fallen drastically. Who needs soda pop when you drink the finest Champagne? Has anyone else noticed this too?

What other beneficial effects are there to listening? I wonder. Improved harvest in the outdoor garden?

Which Bowie album to gift?

I gave him Station to Station. He liked that a lot. I gave him Low. He liked side A and didn't say much about side B.

He knows the Bowie hits When I ask about the best Bowie song of everything he knows he says since childhood it's been Space Oddity. Probably for him nothing comes close. I kinda feel like that too. But the question is, what album do I gift him with next? Is it Space Oddity American release? My concern is how different all the other songs are from the title track.
