Is it just me but we barely got any updates on the nano? I'm thankful we can now preview footage whilst disconnected, and I guess the film tones might be nice for some, but like 2 or 3 updates was pretty lacking.

Things I wish we had:

- modes to choose priority charging (prioritize camera vs maintain % between dock and camera)

- 4:3 aspect ratio on timelapses/hyperlapse

- tap to trigger transfer files

- wireless mic with display working (though I think this is a hardware limitation)

edit: mic works even when camera is detached!!! didn't know that as last Sept 3 it wasn't working for me.

edit: whoops nope, preview stops when you record.

edit: to those worried about temps. check my comment and you'll see that for around 1 hr, at 2.7K, 24 fps, temps has reached roughly 44.4°C while it's charging without any airflow with a 32°C ambient temp

I've seen this done with tennis players and some graduation videos. I wanted to do something similar for my batch during our celebration. It's generally done with a full size camera but I wanted to shrink the setup for ease of getting as many people to write as possible.

Done using a magic arm, piece of acrylic pane, the osmo nano, and the newer macro lens set to 60mm away from the acrylic pane. Lastly, white chalk marker that really makes it pop.

no editing outside of color correcting from dlogm and repositioning/cropping for some. oh also the text at the start

- Ultrawide FOV (needed to "dewarp" after adding macro lens)

- no stabilization (better to keep words in place)

- 2.7K 24 fps dlogm

- side note, best to use soft tissue and alcohol. But if you let it dry a minute, you can erase cleanly by hand.
