Has anyone used waterbase ground for custom candy?

I have remnants of a waterbase scheme that I'd like to use up and my own car that I want to do some custom, layered candy. I've got various grades of metallic so I want to do a simple 3 stripe design under the tinted clear. I've done this before with solvent but I've never tried it with waterbase. Somethings telling me that even with good prep the masking is more likely to peel waterbase than it would be solvent. Does anyone have any experience with this? Should I trust my instinct or just roll with it and see what happens?

What is an unreasonable time on a Sunday for a very loud car?

The exhaust fell off my car on Friday, and to be honest I couldn't afford a new one. I've found a good second hand one on marketplace and the seller said "collect Sunday whatever time I'm in all day"

My problem is, my car wasn't particularly quiet to begin with. It has 8 cylinders of contained explosions...the child in me found it hilarious on Friday afternoon driving home from work, the adult in me is extremely conscious of the fact that when I set off, it WILL set off every alarm in a 3 mile radius.

10am sound reasonable to you? I'm sat raring to go and have been since 7am, I keep telling myself, I'll go in an hour...

Private reg came on the car with no retention

Bought a car 2 years ago with the private plate included, but no paperwork for it. There's an old logbook with the original registration on it in the history, if the original reg isn't on retention will the car automatically revert to it, if I remove the private plate? I can find info on how to do that on Google but it doesn't cover the "what happens with the car" only what happens with the plate. I was recently told its quite valuable so I'm looking to sell and keep the car. Private plates aren't really my thing, unless it was something I found funny I probably wouldn't go out of my way to get one.

I'm planning to do this soon as my insurance will be up for renewal, so I'll cancel the policy and get a fresh one once the number plates are organised. Anyone got experience with this? Am I looking at a long drawn out process or is it relatively pain free?

Started a new job Thursday, I won't have it by Monday.

First off why did I have to download 3 separate apps just to work here.. one for time off, one for payslips and one for company updates.. all mandatory.

I provided photo ID, a birth certificate as my right to work, and bank details but tried to explain that I am of no fixed address, I live in a van. Yet company policy is that they need proof of address from the last 3 months in the form of a utility bill. Why? WHY does that matter. Apparently they will not issue a contract, subcontract or any form of employment agreement without it. I'm assembling cabinet's, nothing top secret or even skilled, average pay, nothing even worth stealing... fuck. Sorry, needed to get that out of my system.
