While visiting a park in Nara- I noticed this friendly fungi!! I was so excited to take my first in person photo, and to top it all off- I was abroad!

I believe it is a “wood ear” but that’s the best I got. Anyone a shroom-expert and can help me identify since I was in Japan! Thank you 🍄🍄
