Free shoes…with an interesting catch

I have two shoes for free. But there’s a weird catch.

I have size 17 feet. But my right foot is now in a drop foot brace. To make things fit, I had to buy a pair of size 17 and size 18 shoes. Black, low top New Balance tennis shoes. There is a size 18 left shoe and a size 17 right shoe. Anybody interested?

I expect to get roasted for this, so have at it. But if you’re interested, feel free to DM me.

It sucks that from now on, I’ll have to buy two pairs of shoes to wear one pair!

4000 weekly visitors!!!

Hello foodies!!!

Just wanted you to know that we had 4,000 weekly visits on this sub! It has nothing to do with me as the moderator! This is all on you guys and gals!

Keep on sending reviews. Especially in those far flung places away from the 15/215 north Utah areas. If you’re out towards vernal, Moab, Logan, etc. find a great place to review!!

Thanks so much for making this subreddit a great community! You all are awesome!

Best burger in Utah Valley?

What’s the best burger in Utah Valley (Utah County)?

My vote is for Backdoor Burgers in Provo on University Ave, between 200-300 north.

Coleslaw

Just a conversation starter. I was watching a bbq show on tv and realized that every coleslaw that I’ve tasted over the years has been different. Same name, completely different product.

So…what restaurants here in Utah have the best coleslaw recipes? Let’s try to cover every city/county on this one!!

ProShots? I’m looking for musicals on YouTube

I’ve been in the mood to watch some more musicals. I’ve seen a bunch on film and stage, the last one being The Outsiders, which was phenomenal.

In a recent Reddit post, several people posted proshots of Into the Woods. I’d love to see an extensive list of good musicals done well that I can access on YouTube. And perhaps include those that have a film counterpart as well.

Thanks in advance!

New diagnosis path

My wife discovered she had NET’s after a routine blood vessel scan for her Marfan’s. They found 3-4 tumors in her abdomen.

They scheduled surgery to remove the tumors and some of her intestine, but upon going in, they discovered that she has several hundred small tumors.

So they removed her gallbladder in anticipation of the next process, a monthly shot of something. I can’t remember what.

My question is what can she expect from that? Her carcinoma is level 4 but at a 1 rating. I’m probably saying this all wrong. So bear with me.

If you ask questions, I’ll try to find out and answer them.

Thanks.

A few changes

I have been getting a lot more post submissions from people using throwaway accounts to post negative comments and some harassment posts. That’s not what we’re here for. There’s a reason there are over 8000 current redditors on this sub.

Because of the idiots, I have had to make some changes. Accounts with negative karma will immediately be placed in the moderator queue until I approve or remove it. Also, users who cannot follow simple rules will be either muted or banned, depending upon several factors that will be explained to them.

It’ll mainly just be more work for me, but if one of your posts gets flagged, feel free to reach out to me for clarification.

Happy redditing!

Moderator application

Just wanted to announce that I’m currently looking for some co-moderators. It is a really easy job and only requires a few minutes each month on average.

Congrats to u/travelingfoodie1234

Just wanted to say thank you to @travelingfoodie1234 and mention that their post was the post with the most traffic over the past year. Great post, with quality photos and a stellar review. We all need to take lessons from this user and aspire to be more like them.

I’ll try to do this more often, highlighting some of our loyal redditors.

Diagnosed after 38 years.

I’ve been dealing with a plethora of symptoms for decades and was told numerous times that if I just stopped faking it, I’d be fine. I finally got a neurologist who listened and agreed that FND was the only proper diagnosis.

So I’m thrilled about that. Even though it may not ever be solved, perhaps there can be some relief.

Thus my question: have there been any positive results of the use of magnetic stimulation, ketamine therapy, or psilocybin micro-dosing to help the brain relearn proper stress responses? I’d like to hear/see actual medical journal articles AND anecdotal experiences from any of you. I’m definitely NOT looking for people to tell me how I need to start smoking weed or doing illegal substances, nor do I want any rants on specific political views or candidates/politicians. Thank you in advance.

Ps… I generally attempt to respond to everyone who sends a reply, so expect responses from me.
