"Okay, I think there is enough interest that I can finalize my plans for the after hours charity event (I will get to the charity part at the end) I want to do at Origins. I'll start with the date and time and go from there...

Saturday June 20th at 10pm in the all night open gaming area at Origins. The event is limited to a total of 20 players. First come, first served, please let me know in advance if you wanna reserve your place. If there are spots open at the event, you can just jump in until it fills up, if it fills up. For $40, you get 3 boosters from the X of Swords SLOP kit, one booster from each month. You will build a 400pt team from your boosters. There will be 3 rounds, then a cut to the top 4 players, then the final 2 top players facing off.

*PRIZING*

Prizing is still being bought/donated to this so it isn't finalized yet but it will be worth it. This is what I have so far...

Prizing from the X of Swords SLOP kits will be included, which will include 2 Apocalypse and 2 Genesis final month figures, and all the other goodies from the kits.

There are the 3 maps from Red, White, and Clix to be given out. First place will choose one map, second will choose the second map, and the final map will go to whoever does the worst in the tournament. Sometimes losing pays off.

Every player will get 2 Con LEs from this past year for playing. These will be given out as random, as it is a random lot of figures.

There are some Iconix sets and other things being given to me by Pop's Culture Shoppe/Woolverine Games. He's still getting things together but it includes some D&D Iconixs, the Deadpool Valentines Iconix, and other treats.

*THE CHARITY*

The charity I'm doing this for is going to be the American Heart Association. I have picked this charity as my wife, Amy Johnson, sadly passed away at the young age of 45 this past December from complications of heart surgery due to congestive heart failure. Amy was the best wife a man could ask for and tolerated my HeroClix obsession, even though she didn't understand it. So in her honor, durning the whole event, players can purchase unlimited Probability Re-Rolls for $1 each. All the money from this will be donated to the AHA. A few people have already reached out to me that can't make it to Origins and asked if they can donate anyway. If you would like to do so as well, please PM me and I can give you my PayPal address to donate. I will disclose all money raised by donations and from the Prob Controls to the community and show you all how much is being donated by a check to the American Heart Association in my wife's name and in the name of this community.

Last thing to be said. This is in no way sponsered by WizKids, or any other person/company. This is just something I'm doing myself to honor my wife, other than the donated Iconix, everything is being paid for by me. The SLOP, the maps, the Con Figures, it is all on me. I know I'm gonna lose money but I'm okay with that because this is for my late wife. There is no offical "celebrity" judge for this event. It's just me. And I'm an idiot, so be prepared for mistakes. But this is just to have fun and honor my wife, so please forgive the casual nature of this. So if you wanna participate, that's cool, and if you don't, that's cool too.
