Am I in the wrong? TL;DR
My mom and I decided to go to an Italian Restaurant for lunch. The waitress happened to be someone I know and used to be friends with when I was a little kid. I haven't spoken to this girl since I was 8 years old. We drifted apart. I never had any problems with her at all, we never had any beef.
She told my mom and I to take a seat anywhere we'd like. We sat there for 15 minutes before she even came back to take our drink order. There were three other tables besides us. She was doing everything else besides waiting on us.
She was cashing people out, taking orders, anything except acknowledge us. Finally we were fed up and we decided to leave. On my way out I yelled "nice service". She obviously heard me. About 10 minutes after we left, I got a message from her on Facebook saying she's a "good waitress" and basically saying that it was okay that we were ignored for 15 minutes. She didn't even say "I'll be with you guys as soon as I can, I'm a little busy", we didn't hear a peep from her. She didn't even acknowledge us after we sat down.
She blocked me right after that message so I didn't even get to respond. Well I got on my mom's Facebook account telling her it was me and told her how I felt and blocked her, she didn't like that lmao so she sent her whole family after me harassing my mom and I in the comments of the post I made. One comment stood out to me.
The waitress's cousin that had cancer and survived, she said "maybe if you fix yourself up you'll get better service" like what? My mom and I had just got off of work so we were in our work clothes and it was obvious that they were work clothes. I was so fed up with being harassed by her whole entire family and everyone she knows.
I replied saying "I hope your stupid ass gets cancer again" she took a screenshot of that comment and sent it to one of her relatives and she posted it on her Facebook and people went ballistic on me saying I'm "evil". Then she threatened me saying she's gonna come to my house and beat me up because she found my address online.
I blocked her then she commented on one of my boyfriends posts saying "you better keep your girlfriend safe". They all think I'm an "evil" person. Honestly I don't even think I care because nobody knows what caused that. When you talk shit about my mom and I for no reason, I'll take it to a deeper level because who do you think you are coming at my mom and I for no reason when you don't even know the whole entire story.
Mind you I was friends with the waitress for a couple years when I was super young. I haven't spoken to her since age 8. Technically I don't even know the girl because she's 18 and I'm 21 now and I haven't even spoken to her since I was 8 years old. People change a lot from when they were children y'know? Am I in the wrong in this situation?
I was so tired of being harassed and I wanted her and her psychopath family to leave me alone.
