For those wondering where all the items were yesterday one person posted everything they got. Seriously? I thought there was a limit of 9 items per person? Guess that rule went out the window. I guess this is an SAS post but anyone else feel like summer @ BBw is entirely too short? The past two years I noticed that it comes and goes so fast, faster than other seasons it seems. I would drag my feet on getting the candles or SAS made for sales and miss out. Last year I didn’t even get Cotton Candy Grape because I still had a couple from the year prior. So this year once SAS came around I prepared. Got my candles early. Stocked up once Cotton Candy Grape hit 75% off. Did a haul of 75% off SAS candles. It’s July 27th today and 100 degrees outside and BBW has fall items out. I want to enjoy my summer items and looks like I finally learned the way to do it. It also helps to keep me out of the stores.

Why oh why won’t they bring it back? This is the second year now that it’s not returning. It’s one of the very few fall scents that I actually like. They really hate me. Oh well it helps my wallet. Since they won’t bring it back I probably won’t shop until the next SAS or Candle Day.

I know a lot of people have been waiting for them to restock the entire line on the website. It seems like it’s been sold out for weeks now. Today I came across this influencer randomly showing what BBW sent her for free and it included the entire line of Midnight Marshmallow. So goes to show what they think of their “consumers” that they can’t even restock what they obviously have but they prefer to give it away for free to certain chosen ones. This makes me glad I’m enforcing a strict no buy. After SAS I needed to break my habit of going in store and now I don’t feel the need to. After seeing this I’m even more inclined to not spending any more of my money at this store.

Finally getting around to using this hand sanitizer. I don’t remember when it was released but all I could get was one so it was very limited and before I knew it it was gone from stores. But omg why isn’t this a permanent scent? It smells so good and reminds me of the incense scents like Happy Kwanza and Moonlit Graveyard or Carnival Fog. I remember voting for it in the polls for a return scent and it obviously didn’t win. Wish I had seen more of these.

Got lucky to get this one during SAS. Was initially going to skip it because I had it before in the glass lid & it wasn’t on my priority list. It smells so good tho mix of chocolate pudding and a hint of perfume that makes me think of scents like Chocolate Amber. It’s a powerhouse too. I miss when almost all of their candles threw well like this one. So happy I found a store that had it priced at 75% off or else I probably wouldn’t have gotten it. Anyone else enjoying this one? Haven’t heard much about it on here.

Went in store today and it feels weird in there now with the new layout. Everything being on the walls makes it harder to find stuff. And I saw that stupid new So Good it’s gone sign today. CEO has a new vision and this is it? Usually I go into BBW to let off some stress and make myself happy. Today it felt drab and dreary. I almost get the vibe of how McDonalds is using specific colors and minimalism to get customers out of their restaurant faster. My interest in the new fall stuff just isn’t there this time. I walked out with nothing and no desire to get anything. If this is the way it’s going to be then my no buy should be a breeze.

So after seeing posts the last two days about people finding 75% off candles I decided today to go to a store in my city that I knew had a ton of candles but it’s like 30 minutes away from me. But today I was in the area and I stopped by & so glad that I did. When I saw the first table pictured I asked the associate if they were also 75% off she said they all were I think they had so many that they just want to sell so they said all of them were! I got Sweet Tea and Lemonade, Lavender Marshamallow, Toasted coconut Eclair & Santa’s Cookies and Milk one that I had wanted to try since Christmas but was waiting for it to go 75% off. Kept my coupon and they came out to a little over $5 each. My patience paid off.

The four pictured here are 50% off. They’re old one is from last SAS, the rest are from last fall I believe. Just old as heck and BBW has them for 50% off? Why are they playing? They should be 75% off. I’m feel like this SAS has been a joke with the candle pricing. Are we really only going to get that one day where they were $7.99? Will they finally drop these old as dirt candles to 75% off? They’re playing more games than usual this saS.

Just dropped into my local store to see what they had for SAS and they seem to be pretty wiped out. It’s been a sad SAS not for the lack of finds. Ive found some prettty amazing deals but it feels empty without the 75% off candles. I know they did the one day $7.99 sale yesterday but seriously one day? Why are they being so stingy with the candles? One store I went to yesterday had 3 tables full of candles. Hand Soaps are still 50% off. Roomsprays & wallflowers the same. It’s leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully this next week has some surprises. Anyways here’s some newness I spotted for fall. Autumn Drive in a wallflower finally!

So these will probably be the SAS candles, Disney and The Homemade Sour Dough collection I’m guessing? Because I’ve randomly seen stores with huge displays of that scent out of nowhere. I wonder if $7.99 is going to be the low point for the candles this SAS? I know the Palo Santo Candle is currently on the app for 75% off. The Christmas candles should go 75% off next week. But I wonder if anything else will? Single wicks? So much to see this final week. I am also waiting for the hand soaps and wallflowers to go 75% off. Thoughts? Rumours you all are hearing?

Saw a lot of post recently about people asking if the milk bar products will be out during SAS well this was one store that I went to today they had several of the products out in Cereal milk soft Serve cinnamon, sugar pretzel cookie, and the peppermint bark truffle scent. Everything 75% off. Be checking your stores!

I think this may be one of my best finds from this SAS. I thought this basket was only in Fresh Cut Lilacs but I saw them sitting there with the flaps open so I peeked in and saw it was Gingham Gorgeous! The manager at the store began yelling at me and another lady who were curious what the scent was inside (I mean do you expect people to buy it if they don’t know the scent?). She was saying people kept tearing them open all day. I took the one I looked in so she would calm down. I almost didn’t take it after she bit my head off but at $21 I couldn’t pass it up.

This candle smells so good. While the throw could be better it smells so freaking good. How have they had this in the vault for so long? This collection has been great so far as Honolulu Sun is another good one. Just stick to vault scents BBW instead of giving us things like Ghost Pepper & Pizza and Ranch candles.

Stores are already setting up for SAS on Monday and now I’m getting excited some quick reviews

Honolulu Sun Candle- although not pictured (don’t know why I didn’t take a pic of the new candles) they had them out. It did smell very light on cold but smells exactly like the hand soap.

Oceanside- this one surprised me. It smells so good. Like a Salted Ocean air but sweeter. It is also stronger than Honolulu Sun

Coconut Lime Verbena- smells just like the body care. Medium to light on throw.

Mango Coconut Cooler- smells like a mango ice cream. It was just ok not my fave. Throw smells like it would be a medium

Summer Boardwalk- like I said about the single wick it smells more like apples this year. I detect no caramel. This candle used to be so good but it smells weird now.

I think Oceanside will be the hit from this collection. It’s soooo good.

Summer Rain- smelled very good actually. Typical BBw water scents like Bergamont but it’s nice.

Mahogany Cherry- favorite from the collection. The mahogany isn’t overpowering like it is in other candles. The cherry mixes well with it and takes away the sharpness of the mahogany. Definitely picking this one up.

Hibiscus Waterfalls, Cactus Blossom, Champagne toast repackages galore they smell like they usually do nothing new to see here.

There’s a ton of wallflowers out for SAS. Lots of returning scents. Poppy and Open Sky stuck out in my mind as smelling the best. Don’t know if they’ve been out since those scents were released as signature collections. Black Cherry Merlot smelled off. I didn’t like new scent Anchors Away it’s just not good.

Washed my hands in store with Toasted Marshmallow Pop and Brown Sugar and Fig. Out of the two the latter is my fave. Toasted Marshmallow Pop didn’t smell as sweet as I thought. It kind of reminded me of Toaster Treat single wick that was out a while back. It’s heavy on the gourmand. Brown Sugar and Fig smells just like the body care.

The final review from my haul. I had burned this one briefly before work one day and it was just getting going and I had to leave. So I saved the review for later to let it perform. I see why it’s now sold out. It’s a delicious bubblegum scent and super strong. I have had the BBW Pink Bubblegum candle before and I couldn’t smell a thing. Now this is a good bubblegum candle. It smells exactly like bubblegum and it lingers after it’s been put out. This one performs so good. The only thing is that I don’t get much of the watermelon. This candle should be called Pink Bubblegum because that’s what it gives me. It an amazing scent and so true to life. Throw is a solid 10/10. Love this one.

So this is my final burn from the Hello Kitty Collection. Scent notes are Cherry Blossom Petals, Juicy Peach, Creamy Milk & Whipped Vanilla. I mostly detect the cherry blossom petals and milk. I thought it would be similar to Forever Cherry Blossom from BBw but it stand on its own. I think it may be the peach (which I didn’t detect while burning) and the milk. It creates a not so perfumey scent. More of a creamy milky scent mixed with Cherry Blossom. I liked it. It’s unique and new to my nose at least. The throw could’ve been stronger tho. Overall I give this candle a 7/10 I deducted 3 points for throw.
