The box is beautiful! I love that the scents are very different from BBW (I love both). Very happy Sally’s is a more berry in this one, I was hoping at least one would be from either store. So happy they did one for Zero and Oogie Boogie as well, they really dropped the ball on that at BBW. I also love that the colors are very different vs BBW - this is more of a Christmas theme vs Halloween so it’s nice to have both versions. This is my second time ordering from Goosecreek and they are definitely getting close to the top of my list for candles! 💜

I was going to wait but really wanted the black cat one. When somebody posted the remaining inventory counts I decided to order. BBW marshmallow fireside is one of my all time favorites & this one sounds similar.

Upon closer inspection… these are Christmas candles, not Halloween candles. Which is ok by me.

The Sally candle is not similar to Parlor Shadows/ Aaah Real Monsters like we were speculating. It’s much sweeter and more floral. I really like it!

The Zero candle is really unique! Very amber and musk forward, I don’t really smell the eucalyptus on cold.

Oogie Boogie is kind of giving Christmas tree but the rosemary does come through so it’s a bit different.

Jack is nice! It’s like a warm and spicy aquatic.

Well, you win some and you lose some 🫤 i got my latest order today minus the NBC box set! For whatever reason that one will be here tomorrow. Eventhough they shipped at the same time 😣 This order is kind of a bust compared to the last. I was soooo excited about Fir and Palo Santo! I love both of those things, but it just smells like another pine scent to me. I was really hoping the palo santo would be the star. Crunchy Leaves is nice! I appreciate the citrus note in this one and the cinnamon is nice and light in the background. Cinnamon over powers for me pretty easily. Evening Crafts is a really weird one for me. I was expecting it to be much more fruity. The stand out notes to me are the pear and amber. I don't get peach at all and the apple is light. I can't detect any spice either. I wish it was a little brighter or spicier, it almost leans bakery to me. I feel like it might evolve when warm though. Cinnamon woods is just ok. Weirdly, it reminds me of a muted Pumpkin Bonfire from BBW. There is no embers note but it definitely gives the same vibe. The cinnamon is not super strong. Its much more on the woody side. Autumn Fern is definitely my favorite of the bunch! Its the perfect blend of fresh and woodsy. The fir balsam is not overpowering, i can still pick up all the notes. On cold i would buy it again in a heartbeat. However, if I was able to smell the others before buying i don't think i would have purchaed any.. except Crunchy Leaves. That one is unique enough to me personally. None of these are bad scents! Just not my personal preference or what I was expecting!

My box finally arrived!! After a week and a half! I always feel like I don’t need to review old scents because I’ve already reviewed them from past years. But if y’all like them, I’ll keep doing returning candles! It does help for the newbies and whatnot.
I grabbed 6 out of the 9 scents available, and I doubled Black Cat though! You won’t get away from me this year! 😂 Man oh man, these labels!!! They KILLED them this year!! (No pun intended 😂) I rate these based on cold throw.

TRICK OR TREAT (repurchase) — notes of caramel apples, pumpkin-spiced graham crackers, gooey marshmallows & melted chocolate.
The LEGEND. The ICONIC. TRICK OR TREAT!
I LOVE LOVE everything about this label!! Much better than the previous years, besides last year’s Vault Collection label! It was the closest to the OG label!!
The haunted house, bats, ghosts, the candy flying around and the kids!!! Omg, they paid homage to the original label with the trick-or-treating kids holding the pumpkin buckets!! Ahhh!!! SO much detail on this label!
It’s the BEST Halloween candle for a reason! Always sells out every year!!
It remains the same candy bag smell it has always had! The apple is the perfect balance of apple! It’s like an apple graham cracker pumpkin spice.

GRAVEYARD GHOST TOUR — notes of crisp leaves, tombstone moss, midnight rain, dark patchouli & smoky vetiver.
Y’all, if you’re into earthy/moody-type scents, then this is for you!! To my nose, it smells similar to one of the Beetlejuice candles! I can’t pinpoint which one yet, but I’m sure it’ll come to me later!
The patchouli isn’t very overpowering, unlike Summer Moon! Omg, actually it’s like a half-sibling to Summer Moon!

PUMPKIN CARVING (repurchase) — notes of apple, festive pumpkin, nutmeg, clove, caramel & cinnamon.
I’m SO happy this is back!!!! This SMELLS exactly the same!!! I’m so happy about that!!! Again! This was last seen in 2024 along with Black Cat.
I used to say this was a dupe for BBW Pumpkin Carving, but smelling it this year, my mind has changed! GC Pumpkin Carving is more apple-forward, whereas BBW doesn’t have apple! It’s really giving apple cinnamon pumpkin spice! It’s so delicious 🤤

HAUNTED THEATER — notes of buttery movie popcorn, sea salt & creamy caramel drizzle.
This label!!! Is CHEF’S KISS!!! The ghosts are everything to me!! It makes me want to frame some pictures of ghosts and use them as Halloween decorations!
Now onto the scent! WHERE’S THE BUTTERY POPCORN!?! You speak of GC!! 😂 It’s ALL caramel!! I don’t know how I feel about this one. It’s not terrible, but I WANT POPCORN!
If you were going to do caramel and popcorn, you should’ve just given us a repackage of Dazzling Popcorn 😂 or brought back Movie Date and added caramel.

BLACK CAT (repurchase) — notes of vanilla musk, marshmallow, campfire woods & sandalwood.
This has EASILY become a favorite of mine! I first purchased this back in 2024 when it returned after being extinct from the large jars. It came back out in the 3-wick form. It still smells the same as the 2024 formula! Which is always a plus!!
It puts you in the mindset of Marshmallow Fireside, just a little darker, more marshmallow and woodsy! Ahh! She’s so good!

WITCH’S CAULDRON (repurchase) — notes of petrifying patchouli, forest fog & haunted woods.
Takes the cake as 2nd best!!! The label is GORGEOUS!!! I love all the elements of Halloween on this candle! The witch’s broom, the cat, the spell book, the cauldron, the crystals, etc…
This is a VERY moody candle!! Smelling it reminds me of my first year of Halloween in 2023! I call this the witchy woman!!! I buy her every year!! I now have 3 in stock!
Although, this year’s smells better than last year’s. This is the first candle that made me fall in love with patchouli!

This is one of the most complex GC candles I've ever owned. I swear I smell a new note every time I stick my nose in it. And FINALLY, a candle with patchouli in it that hits that dark, moody patchouli of Yankee's Witches' Brew. I've bought so many candles with a patchouli note (across several brands) and then crack them open and can't smell the damn patchouli! Or it's the more green, sweeter version. I might actually let this one sit under the lamp, which is usually reserved for larger candles, because I want to savor it. If you like Witches' Brew and are looking for something similar (not a dupe), try this. I hope those 4-wicks are a hit, because I'd pay full price for 26 oz of BUTS (lol). I'm so glad summer is over!
