Raynor might be a bit too underrated

I know Raynor can struggle more than usual with certain mutations and is rarely the best choice for a given week, but being most of the time mid isn't the same as being inherently bad in every situation.

Even when Raynor has better tools to handle some weekly mutations than other commanders, he’s rarely mentioned as an option—and when he is, it’s often just to say he’s bad. Feels bad, man.

Bio needs better survival tools

While I think bio is better than many believe, I feel it's far too easy for a mutation to mess up your army in some way.

It happens so frequently that P3 has become my default. BCs can be kinda infamous, but most of the time they handle mutations much better than Bio. Need something that can withstand a lot of punishment? Use BCs. Need to be able to move quickly across the map? Use BCs. Need something that can take down an overpowered enemy army this week? Use BCs and spam your calldowns against every wave.

And if the mutation doesn't allow enough time to do so, it's not uncommon for the mission to end up being a test of how many spider mines you can place or a cheesy time with vikings and calldowns.

Bio only feels better when the mission can be completed quickly and you need as much pushing power as you can or the weekly mutation is so harmless that you choose bio simply to avoid feeling bad that your ally might end up cleaning the map before you if you decide to use P3. It's a little sad that marines and medics don't get as much prominence as Vultures or BCs, when this commander is supposed to be an infantry specialist.

Counter comps for commanders?

After playing a few games in this weekly mutation, I didn't really feel like Raynor was as bad as some people say (either that, or this mutation isn't that bad overall). I mean, if you get stuck with a comp with splash damage, he's pretty bad, you just can't kill enemies fast enough with an average partner; but otherwise, he's not.

Then I started wondering, don't the other commanders have enemy compositions that give them trouble too? Is everyone except Raynor so resilient in that regard?

What are the most difficult weekly mutations so far?

After trying over and over again this week until I finally managed to beat it with a very good Kerry ally; I was wondering what other mutations to come would be just as or even more difficult.

Which unit from one commander would you like to see used by another?

It could be for its usefulness or thematic reasons.

In my case, I'd like Raynor to be able to use Emperor's Shadows. Emp Blast would be useful, he'd still have plenty of gas left in the late game anyway

I have no idea why I never see Mengsk players using it

Any good banshee/viking comp guide?

It's a bit ironic, but I'm really not comfortable using that comp. It feels like a more mobile bio but without medics. I find Viking/Vulture or Mass BCs much more enjoyable to pilot most of the time (except on infested maps where I mostly go with banshees). However, I'm probably doing something wrong; so I wanted to know if there were any good guides you could recommend.
