I made a short film within 2 hours as a joke (and to test my 35mm anamorphic lens) as I was frustrated about not shooting anything and whining on Reddit about it. I already posted the YouTube link, but it's 18+ only because of the title. My close friends and mates either love it or hate it.
I did not care about it, but now I like it even if it's technically quite poor.
It was a quick challenge to motivate myself, so feel free to shoot if you need to 😉

I built a near-perfect kit to start filmmaking. I have an FX3, great lights, great mics. I just want to tell a story, and I am SO FREAKING FRUSTRATED that I haven't already published my first broke, scrappy short.
It doesn't need to be great. I just want to create something.

I feel like I'm crazy to buy a brand new one (4119 euros with a deal) right now, as the price might drop quickly when the Mk 2 is announced.

I finally have time and money to move forward on my directing dreams, and I want to jump straight into short films.
I will soon get money to be able to start shooting, and I love the cinematic feeling of the FX3.
What lens should I buy (Sirui Saturn kit, Blazar Remus kit)? What cage, what screen? Give me your best kit to start making great short movies!
