Today a white truck backed into the front of my car while I was stopped behind it because of oncoming traffic, then drove away without stopping. The accident happened opposite a CVS. I only remember it was a white truck and may remember part of the license plate, but I'm not certain. Is it worth filing a police report, and do police actually investigate hit-and-run cases like this if there might be nearby security cameras? or should I reach out to insurance?
