26 weeks cerclage removed, hospitalized until delivery

I got a cerclage put in at 21 weeks and have been on progesterone since. I’ve been fine and have had no symptoms of pain, cramping, etc until recently. At 26 weeks I had bleeding with cramping so went straight to the hospital. Long story short, they ended up moving my cerclage as it was doing more harm than good and now they want me hospitalized until I deliver the baby. Has anyone ever gone through this? And if so, how long did you stay pregnant? I of course want to stay pregnant as long as possible but have a 15 month old at home and am missing her so much. 😓 just looking for some positive stories and advice.

26 weeks with bleeding and cramping.

I just made it to 26 weeks. I had an emergency cerclage put in at 21 weeks with no issues or symptoms. I am now bleeding and was having contraction like cramping-which the cramping has now lessened. The admitted me, and gave me magnesium and the steroid shot incase baby come early. The can’t find a real reason what is causing this and are keeping me to monitor me and give me the second steroid shot. Has anyone else been in this situation?? And what was your outcome? What should I be asking? They have already done 4 speculum checks and an ultrasound and still can’t see what the issue is.

Activity Levels with Cerclage

I am probably over thinking this too much, but I am just curious what people did activity level wise when they had a cerclage in. At 21 weeks I had an unmeasurable cervix with funneling so they immediately gave me a cerclage and put me on progesterone. I’ve been told by my doctors to take it easy, which sometimes feels so vague to me. I am a mom of a 1 year old and my husband does help out a lot! What household things did you do when in this situation? I haven’t had any cramping, but my body will let me know if it’s tired. I’ve been doing just small things around the house.

Recent Cerclage Placent

I am writing this to find support. Last week I had my 20 weeks appt anatomy scan and they found my cervix to be open and unmeasurable with funneling. They immediately had me go that night to have a cerclage placed. I physically feel fine, but mentally I am struggling. This was so unexpected, I had never even heard of this. I’m sure it’s very normal to feel anxious now because there is so much unknown. I feel frantic, like I should get the nursery done and feel prepared for anything. If you have a positive story/outcome please share or any advice on how you are coping from the time you had your cerclage until you labored. ❤️
