Your monitor might be silently installing adware

Hi all, I was searching for a new monitor to buy and I recently came across this video, thought it was worth sharing in the gaming community.

TLDR
LG has been silently auto-installing LG Monitor app installer through Windows Update on monitors mentioned below. Once installed, it frequently triggers intrusive pop-ups advertising McAfee subscriptions and carries permissions to access broad system resources, geolocation, and personal data without explicit user consent.

72k for this used PC, worth it?

Hi all, getting this used pc build for 72k (50k without the 1x16gb RAM+SSD). Seller sent me the bill, they purchased it around January of last year and are looking for an upgrade. Other than that I was also offered ASRock Radeon RX 9060 XT Steel Legend 16GB White Edition for 42k, I checked the prices online and the Sapphire Pulse version with 2 fans costs around 43k, so I don't think the getting the gpu makes any sense here. They also agreed upon not charging me for the Antec CX700 Cabinet

SPECS:
Intel i5-14600K

ASRock RX 9060 XT 16GB Steel Legend OC

ADATA XPG Lancer Blade 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz RAM

Gigabyte B760M Aorus Elite AX (WiFi) motherboard

Crucial P3 500GB NVMe SSD

DeepCool PM750D 750W 80+ Gold PSU

DeepCool LE720 liquid cooler

I've almost pulled the trigger on this, so I'd appreciate any input before I commit. Thanks!

₹1L Build with some used deals

Hi all, I've been wanting to build a PC within 1L. This is the build I've decided on if I get everything new. I went to Nehru Place and the price of the build is almost the same. They were quoting rams and mobo's on the higher side. I can save around 6k if I get them online and the rest from Nehru Place.

Other than that I've also searched for some second hand builds on olx:

Build 1: (listed for 75k)
CPU - i5 14400f
GPU - rx6700xt 12gb
MOBO - h610m msi
RAM - T-force 32gb ddr4
SSD - 500gb zebronics
PSU - some 650w PSU (seller doesn't know the brand, I've asked to confirm with them)
LG 27 inch 144hz

Seller agreed on 48k without gpu and monitor, I could get a 7800xt ~40k from Nehru Place, making the total ~90k.

Build 2: (listed for 87k)
CPU - Ryzen 5 7600x
GPU - Colorful 12GB RTX 3060
MOBO - MSI B650
RAM - Crucial 32gb ddr5
SSD - 500gb (seller doesn't know the brand)
PSU - Seller doesn't know, when I ask they kept pushing me to visit their store

Seller agreed on 85k, this is a second hand sell and purchase shop. They attached this bill: https://ibb.co/YBB3MQts which seems very suspicious.

Also I figured with the first build that I could build it new for ~49k if I swap t-force with gskill.

I will mostly be playing FPS titles and some office work (mobile dev) and I don't really plan on upgrading the pc in future. Please help me make a decision.

Apologies for any typos!
(This is a repost because the last post didn't gain any traction)
