I'm 100% New
Hi all!
I'm 100% new to Arkham Horror LCG (have all FFG's other board games though <3), but appear to be new during a weird transition period where all original content is now essentially out of print and WILDLY expensive and chapter 2 is new but pretty brand new.
At this point I'm a bit unsure where to start? Do I start with Chapter 2 core and just go from here? Seems like getting a revised core and finding chapter 1 content will be really expensive since so many people are upping their prices now things are out of print 🥲
Anyone have any suggestions? I bought a single old core box and am now learning that is not really the move but can re-sell fairly easily I think.

Edit: Thank you all! Consensus is fight the FOMO and chill with my base game and get Chapter 2+expansion if I like it and that's a good enough plan for me. Thank you guys 😊
