August Maine Honeymoon - Advice!
Hi!! My husband and I want to go to Maine for our honeymoon in August, around the first week probably. We will be flying to either Portland or to Boston and driving up. I am going a little crazy with trying to decide where to go and how many days to stay in each place. I want the trip to be around 7-9 nights total. We are trying to not spend over $6k and the flights are 1k. Some places I've found online to visit are ongunquit, kennebunkport, portland, bar harbor. But should we split these stays evenly?? Should we stay in one spot and travel around??
Background: we love to be active, hiking, biking, and rock climbing. But I also love a cute walkable town with local food and shops. We love coffee, wine, and fancy dinners.
