Anybody have tips on how to not get brush strokes when painting intricately detailed furniture?

I’ve painted furniture with flat surfaces with rollers and that works great, but working on something with a lot of detail. Will do two coats of primer and use a self leveling paint, but anything else to consider?

Recent project on an old exterior door!

Door was in rough shape—veneer peeling, chunks missing. Super fun to bring back to life!
