1948 John Deere Model B finally started, but need help!

My grandpa left me a 1948 John Deere model B and after the past few days of constant work I got it to start and drive around our yard. However, the engine was very sputtery and even after running for the while would die with the choke being turned off. The throttle was also very sticky and slow reacting. Just looking for some ideas of what maintenance I need to do. My worst fear is carburetor troubles but I’m afraid that’s where it’s going.

I recently purchased a ‘92 bayliner and gutted the seats and carpet. I was wondering if anyone had ideas where to get new seats and cushions! Thank you!
