Cheaper Remarkable Pro alternatives?

apologies for a question that has doubtless been asked a million times, but I was curious if anyone had any thoughts/recommendations for an eink tablet à la Remarkable (stylus input and the ability to connect a keyboard) that doesn’t cost as much as a regular laptop?

I don’t want a colour tablet, nor do I want one with a full App Store. a largely disconnected device that I can handwrite on (with handwriting recognition) and the option to type, ideally as close to a regular 8.5x11 size as possible.

seems like a fool’s errand, based on my research so far, but I’m hoping I missed a cheaper option.

Bags like 5.11 Rush Moab 3?

hey all,

I’ve got a Tomtok sling that has been bothering me a bit lately, as I want more internal compartments, and a clamshell opening. the 5.11 rush looks like it would work functionally, it the Concealed Carry and Ammo focus is a little weird to me. I have one of their backpacks and the quality is nice, but a tactical sling is a bit much for my personal vibes.

can anyone point to other slings with a similar configuration — clamshell, Velcro on one wall of the bag, internal organization — that doesn’t look as much like I’d be cosplaying a soldier of fortune while walking or wandering around downtown?
