Wednesday shave

Flash 1000 | Cella | Myrsol Plastic Shave | Ever Ready C40

A few weeks ago, I went through my storage tote filled with my lesser used shaving goods and saw Cella in there. I’ve always loved the scent but the slickness was never quite there for me.

Suddenly, I got this brilliant idea which I’ve been doing with Cella and some of my other soaps that have mediocre slickness. I thought I would let you guys in on a little trick I’ve been doing because I don’t ever recall seeing it mentioned on here and it works very well.

If you have a soap/cream that you love the scent of but the slickness isn’t to your liking, bowl lather with it. When you’re almost at the end and have just a couple water additions left, add a few drops of glycerin and mix it into the lather and boom… now you have a slick soap. Give it a try and see what you think.
