Pink heartz is a blessing from sofaygo.

Yes, take my life and downvote me to hell for this, but pink heartz will forever be my number 1 favorite album from sofaygo✨💕. This album brings back so many beautiful memories man 😭, it always takes me back to the first time I listened to it. It always does.

The way that each song transitions into the other is angelic. The lyrics resonate deeply with me, the beat, his voice 🪽 ugh, True masterpiece!! I tear up when I'm listening to it ngl.

(But hey if you don't agree, you can just scroll. No need to come here and spread hate!)

Does anyone else feel like they just wouldn't know what to do with a baby?

Apart from the many reasons why we childfree people don't want kids, including the ones that people would call "selfish" even though it's actually not....

Does anyone else feel like if they had a kid, they wouldn't know what to do with it?

Me personally, if I had a baby I wouldn't know what to do with it. It'd just be like: there's this little thing that just cries, and screams and screeches and poops, eats and it wants attention 24/7. But like, I don't see the point. Why would I willingly sign up for such a boring and depressing responsibility? 🫩

I want to know what y'all think. Is it just me?

Breeders disgust me!!

Yesterday, I was in the market and my boss and a customer started talking about reproduction.

My boss argues that when he tells people who have already had about 2-3 kids to have more kids, they say that they have had enough and that they want to raise them properly.

And then my boss said that people don't actually raise their kids, that if a child grows up to be a good individual that it's god who made it happen and not the parents.

Then the woman/customer said that she had 8 kids, 3 died so that's 5 kids left. She said to just have more kids because you don't know tomorrow.

What the fuck does this even add up to??

I can't comprehend how these people even form a thought Like, they argue to just have more kids and don't worry about feeding them or raising them properly, and just "leave it all to god"!

Are we serious right now?? And everyone else was just nodding in agreement, it's crazy to me that not even a single person except from me can see how WRONG this mindset is.

Fucking sheep mentality! Just knowing that there're people who think like this, makes my decision to be childfree even stronger!!

They were all cheering her up like the kids are some sort of achievements and trophies to show off.

I was so pissed bro! 😤

When parents think 'not actively abusing/neglecting you' deserves a medal.

A month ago, my parents called me and my siblings to have a "Come-to-Jesus" Talk! And my parents, especially my father started talking about how we should consider ourselves "lucky" because we're not out in the streets Hawking items or doing hard labour at a very young age.

We're talking sending 6-10 year olds in the cold and harsh weather to hustle. 🤦🏽‍♂️💔

Just because he didn't have anyone to take care of him and he had to do all of this to survive at a young age. That his own parents didn't even look after him.

So how exactly are we lucky? Why would you ever want your kids to suffer???

I have decided that I don't want kids and I want to remain childfree in the future, but if I did have kids, I'd never ever let them go through the same shit that I have gone through.

I mean, isn't that the point? If you had a rough life growing up and you decided to have kids, you wouldn't want them to suffer. You would want the best for them!

I'm all for the fuck them kids but child abuse is just WRONG!!!

There's also the part where he said that "we children of nowadays have too many choices", that back in his day he didn't have a choice!

Are we deadass??

Saw a beautiful kitten running scared in a market today. People’s ignorance infuriates me.

The way African people treat cats especially here in Nigeria is actually really sad. Not just for the cat but it shows how dumb and superstitious mfs really are!

I'm currently in the market and i saw a small kitten running around the market. I'd have carried it if I wasn't in the market tbh. But I managed to take a few pics of this cutie 😊💝.

Everyone was running away from it or chasing it away and saying all sorts of superstitious nonsense. I can't help but just watch it run around scared.

I plan to adopt a cat when I move out and rent my own apartment. And if that's gonna keep dumb and superstitious people away then so be it.

How can one try to hurt such beautiful and gentle creatures?!

(EDIT). I know some of you guys would suggest that i go back and save the cat and I'd love to but I still live with my parents, hence why i want to wait until I have my own apartment to adopt one. and my mom hates cats. She thinks they're controlled by witches or some shit.

How traditional masculinity and religious delusions trap people in miserable parenting.

I can never understand how these people think. My father says that family is not easy, he constantly whines about making expenses and being the family's sole provider.

He complains about the noises children make because he can't rest. And being very superstitious on top of all this, thinking that visiting some so-called spiritualist will make things a bit easier. But that is if god agrees with it.

So which is it? Smh.

A couple just visited us with their kid and they look miserable as hell. The woman used to be very beautiful but now she's all darkened due to hard work and burnout.

Wtf do these people not understand that life will always be hard? It's not all sunshine and rainbows. There are good and bad days but sometimes the bad days never actually go away.

Life is already hard for an individual let alone a whole family when you are not even financially stable.

Why is my father complaining? Isn't being the sole provider his role as the "man of the house"? Isn't that what traditional gender role relationships are all about?

But me choosing to have an egalitarian relationship and being childfree is seen as not being "MAN ENOUGH". I mean, that's what my father will probably say when he finds out in the future.

Talking bout men do strong things. Well man tf up and stop whining about " life too hard" 🙄

Genuinely wtf is wrong with these people?

And they also advice to just have kids because the god who gave them to you will not let them go hungry.

Well, where is the god now huh?

19M Nigerian. Deconstructed from both Christianity and traditional mysticism, feeling pretty isolated.

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting here.

Yesterday, my father asked me to accompany him to a spiritualist but I refused because I don't believe in that anymore. But he doubled down this morning and I just agreed to go with him.

Right now I'm doing whatever I have to, to keep the peace until I move out. I don't know anyone who thinks like me in real life, it's lonely AF.

So if you guys are out there, I'd love to be friends!

The absolute certainty from parents that you will have kids and you will be as miserable as them.

Bruh 😂. I don't even know where to start with this one.

I love testimonies like this. These people aren't making family look easy at all. My parents keep saying that one day I'll have my own children but they're not making it look easy.

So, just this morning my father said that he wants to visit a "not a native doctor" but someone who sees things spiritually, like a fortune teller! Because he doesn't understand what's happening in his life.

I refused and he said that I'm a man, I should go with him because I'll be starting a business soon. So that the business becomes successful when I eventually start. That people who do businesses walk around like visiting native doctors and shit.

That's not the only reason. He told me that life isn't the way i think it is. "That time will come" when I'll be the one asking him places like shrines to go. That I won't understand now because I'm still a kid.

So, he's implying that I'll eventually have my own family and kids as a man, things will get hard and I'll start running around churches and shrines like him.

He told me that back when my mother gave birth to twins, the twins will get sick often, and they were crying and screaming and they ate a lot. All of this kept happening while they were still babies. He then went on about how he kept running around pastors and native doctors looking for a solution. A friend his age asked him why he was going from places to places and he responded saying that he's still a kid. They are both of the same age but my father calls him a kid because "life hasn't hit him yet". Back then his friend hadn't started a family. But now his friend has a family and he's running around for solutions too. 😂 smh🤦🏽‍♂️!

Okay now for my rant. Why TF would I look at this lifestyle of being miserable/depressed and restless and then willingly sign up to it? It's like no brainer 🤡 🧠❌. What???

My father explicitly said that money will be surplus though. I'll be successful and things will be going great. Just a young man living life y'know. Until I start a family, then things will become dark. But he said it's not a curse, just something that will eventually happen. (Son 😭😂)

Misery loves company truly.

First of all, if I know that starting a family will make my life miserable, why would I start one? Why can't I just continue enjoying the bachelor life and its beauty 😍✨? Why would I give up all that freedom/autonomy/financial stability and so many wonderful things that comes with being single and successful? No, I'm not dumb. No thank you!

And then if I want I'll get in an egalitarian relationship and enjoy the childfree life together 💝🥰!

I ended the conversation by saying we should just wait and see what happens.

Oh and here comes my mom always whining about how she makes expenses on a daily 🙄. Like, did y'all not think about this before having kids? Has it not clocked in yet that starting a family when you are not mentally, emotionally and financially ready is the cause of all this?

Anyway, thanks for reading guys.
