Hi all, just purchased a new 2026 R1S tri. I’m new to EVs, this will be my first. I have a new house build with 240V outlets in place. What chargers do I need? I hear the car also does not come with a portable charger? Thank you in advance.

Neighbor is selling their forest green with forest edge interior 2024 R1S with 31k miles for $65k. I’m debating between this and a new 2026 dual max. This will be for daily commuting for work- no significant off roading. My commute is up to 40miles each way. I have done a ton of research on gen1 vs gen2 and am still finding this hard to decide. This gen1 will need new tires and does seem to “drift” to the right some, which I am hoping is an alignment or tire issue ( but am not sure). What would you do here? Is it worth the jump to gen 2 due to better software, cameras and autonomy +?

Hi all, I’m looking to purchase my first electric car and interested in the Rivian SUV. I have a friend that is wanting to sell their 2024 R1S (offered it at $60k) gen 1, 30k miles. I’m debating between this and a used 2025 tri R1S gen 2 for $90k. What would you recommend? I am asking if the upgrade to gen 2 is worth the 30k? I’m using this as a car for getting to and from work/ just around town. My commute for work is up to 35 miles away at most (furthest I travel), but usually within 8 miles.
I’m considering purchasing my first electric vehicle and really interested in q6 etron. My local Audi dealer has a new 2025 premium plus for 62k, but the new 2027 will be available in the next month for 77k. In your opinion, Is it worth 15k for the newer version?
EDIT- wow thanks everyone. I really wanted a q8 etron (a q8 in general was always a dream car of mine) but know they have not updated it. maybe I get a used 2024 q8 etron.
I have to be honest, I did not like this show- it made almost no sense, particularly at the end. Explain to me how these detectives had video of the pool house with a person riding a bike to it (like episode 1), but did not see the second bike on the camera? Shouldn’t they have seen one bike show up, then the second bike show up? Suddenly in the last episode, there were like a million security cameras with the bike(s) all over town. Also, wasn’t Carol literally sleeping in a recliner outside her son’s room? How did she miss him leaving, going into garage, riding away, then coming back home?
Unlike most apparently, I found this show difficult to get through. The premise that this weatherman would take out life insurance and pay taxes for his affair partners husband, who he thought was really a great guy. Then strangely want to get him erect to make him feel better about himself, was so idiotic. I was hoping for some odd twist, but it never came.
