hi yall! i really need to trim my hair bc of heat and water damage, my split ends have never been as bad as they are right now but i absolutely do not want to go to my hairstylist. he always cuts off way too much bc he says thats what i need to do for my curly hair to have volume but i want LENGTHHHH ofc volume is great too but i like my hair long and just feel very unlike myself when i have even medium length hair. there arent nany good curly hairstylists where im at and frankly dont feel like risking going to anyone new.
ive been thinking about trimming my own hair but im gonna research thoroughly before doing anything. im on here asking what hairstyle you would recommend so i know what to search up. or if there is a technique yall would recommend? i dont want too many of very harsh layers so i dont wanna do the butterfly cut but thats the only diy curly haircut that comes up when i search up what to do.
