Real estate agent angry about Silverbeet?
Had an inspection recently, we’ve been renting the property for 6 years, and have never had any real issue from the PM or LL end. We’ve had multiple issues from our perspective and some have been fixed but that’s a different story. We’ve had an inspection last week and the PM complained about overgrowth of weeds down the side of the shed. We currently use a gardener to do our lawns/garden maintenance that the REA provided to us.
Looking at the issue, it seems like there’s some random wild silverbeet (I think) growing next to the shed, we didn’t plant this but I guess it’s just taken root and the gardener has decided not to get rid of it? The PM wants us to remove this and do another inspection in 1 week (2 weeks from the original) is this reasonable or can I tell them to essentially FO? We don’t have functioning gardening equipment ourselves anymore (hence using the REA recommended gardener) and both work while having an 8 month old baby so very time poor and also hardly spend time outside this time of year.
Surely this is actually not a real issue and they’re just being arseholes, should I just show them receipts to prove we have a professional gardener once a month and they can take up their issues with with him (I doubt they would actually).
